TO: All Kettering City School District locations and outside locations as designated by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital.

 

POSITION:   FOOD & NUTRITION SERVICE SUBSTITUTE

 

LOCATION: DISTRICT WIDE

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:  Under the supervision of the manager, assist in preparing menu items, setting up the serving line, serving and cleaning equipment and the kitchen area.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:

 

1. Serves and adheres to portion control as instructed by the manager and /or Food Service Workers II.
2. Exhibits rigid sanitation and safety standards at all times.
3. Demonstrates professional personal appearance and work habits.
4. Exhibits a positive attitude and work ethic.
5. Cooperates with the manager and be part of a team in serving schedules, menu changes and other food service-related activities.
6. Follows directions of the manager to serve a high-quality meal.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:

 

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

 

SALARY:  Per approved salary schedule.
